The Founding Members of the Society of Innate Immunity (“SII”) and the Local Organizing Committee of the 1st Congress of the Society take great pleasure in inviting you to join us in Ankara, Turkey in May 13-16, 2007.

Due to unexpected financial constraints, we had to change the location of the congress from Antalya to Ankara. The congress hotel will be the Patalya Thermal Resort Hotel. However, what has not changed is that this first congress of our new Society will take place in the spirit of the Aims and Scope of “SII” as put forward by the Founding Members. The Meeting will provide a forum in which investigators and clinicians in the disparate fields of innate immunity can join for presentation of new research, discussion of ideas and initiation of collaborations.

Plenary Sessions, State-of-the-Art Symposia and discussions as well as oral presentations in a Workshop-Atmosphere will address all aspects of innate immunity focusing particular attention on how the components and functions of innate immunity integrate with other biological systems.
